Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is an amazing natural choice adding so much goodness into our life. It is made from apple cider that has undergone fermentation to form health-promoting probiotics and enzymes, which have so many proven benefits for our health. Regulation of blood sugar levels, enhanced weight loss, reduced cholesterol, improved skin health, reduced blood pressure and relieved symptoms of acid reflux are some of the benefits to our health. Besides, it’s a great eco-friendly alternative to many commercial, toxic cleaning products, having no detrimental effects for us or the environment. There are multiple uses for ACV. Here I mention 3 ways I use it in my daily life:
- Cooking – ACV it’s quite amazing for seasoning your cooking/foods. I love to use it on my tofu dishes, on cashew vegan cheese, or even on my homemade vegan yogurt. Try to add a few drops on your favorite soup before serving. It’s delicious and healthy. See more vegan inspirations.
- House cleaning – kitchen bench, bathroom sink/tub and house floor are some of my daily cleaning uses for ACV. It’s truly eco-friendly, as it’s totally natural, non-toxic and biodegradable. Its highly disinfectant and whitening granting us effective cleaning. See also the Basics of eco-friendly cleaning.
- Hair – a hair rinse with ACV smooths and disentangle the hair, balance pH and promotes hair shine. No smell in your head, just a healthy hair/scalp. Try it and you will dismiss hair conditioners for good. See also My basic homemade beauty care products.
For amazing results, make sure you are using raw (unpasteurized), natural ACV, preferably organic. Adding natural, organic treats to our daily life, bring us closer to Nature, within and without. It’s a way of returning to our Mother and to ourselves, a way of being whole with the Whole!
