Himalayan salt is a pink color salt originated from the mines at Punjab, Pakistan (relatively near Himalayas). It is known for being the purest and complete of all salts and the one with the greatest benefits for our health. 98% of Himalayan salt is composed of sodium chloride (as others salts), but is the remaining percentage that makes this salt so special. Those 2% account for trace minerals (84 in total) such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, vanadium, among others, all required for vital functions and healthy body functioning.

- Cooking – by simply adding a pinch of this pink salt to your foods/cooking in replacement of sea salt, you are naturally taking it’s health benefits.
- Sole – drinking the water that has been saturated with the minerals of Himalayan salt have a variety of health-supporting benefits. Simply add a small amount of this salt to a glass jar filled with drinking water (don’t stir or shake). Allow it to sit and saturate the water for 24 h. Drink the “supernatant” water (e.g. one glass each morning, adding some drops of lemon juice, if you like). Re-batch accordingly to use, “re-charging” salt when you feel it’s “weak” (basically, when salt dissolves completely). This sole it’s full of vital ions that will activate and regularize your metabolism, bringing you wellness and well-being.
