If it doesn’t open, then it’s not your door

If it doesn't open, then it's not your door

This is a great maxima to have in mind when pursuing something. Some things are meant to be, others don’t. Sometimes we are following our desires/goals/dreams not even realizing that they may not be for our highest good or the highest good of all. It’s not just about what we want from life, but also about what life wants from us. God/Universe may have other plans in store for us.

How many times we find ourselves trying and trying, really, really hard about something that no matter what doesn’t manifest? When things are meant to be, they will happen easily, as if we enter the flow of life with just a little push. Then, life itself will effortless push us along the way. When things aren’t meant to be, even though we put all our energy there, still they don’t come to light. It feels like swimming against the flow. Actually, it is and that is why we feel tired and drained all the time. Because they aren’t meant to be, all sorts of incidents and blockages come on our way, as if life is signaling us that that is not the way. The traffic lights on the avenue of our life will be constantly red, not allowing us to move forward. Life is waiting for us to change direction – right or left or even a little backwards if necessary – until we enter the universal flow of Existence once again.

Next time you find yourself wanting something to happen remember to consult Higher guidance in order to understand if it’s for your highest good and it’s in alignment with the original Divine intention of the Universe. Have in mind that “if it doesn’t open, then it’s not your door“. Accept what is not meant to be and be willing to see what is there for you, for your highest good. Allow your dreams to find you. Be open to the invitations of life. Go with the flow. Ask for guidance and extra clarifications if you feel confuse or in doubt. Allow God/Universe to show you the way. Follow the signs and TRUST that “the Universe/God has your back“. Everything is being taken care of and the BEST is yet to come.

  5. Wise words, Susana. There’s a Christian saying that God has three basic answers to our prayers: “Yes,” “No” and “Wait.” Trying to maneuver around those answers really, really doesn’t work — which, of course, I’ve learned the hard way. 🙂
